(Medpor, mesh) or donor rib cartilage to shorten operating time or for the surgeon's convenience.

That is why, for nasal tip surgery, we use nothing other than the patient's own cartilage —
no artificial material and no donor rib cartilage.

Pain is the biggest reason people hesitate about cosmetic surgery.
We work to reduce pain at induction of anaesthesia, on emergence, and when sutures are removed.
At Baroko, we use absorbable sutures inside the nose and medical-grade adhesive
to minimise scarring and reduce the discomfort of stitch removal to the greatest extent possible.

Safe surgery is a basic obligation. Most clinics advertise that they have had no anaesthesia
incidents — but genuine safety means having the knowledge to prevent emergencies
and the capability to resolve them when they arise. At Baroko we monitor oxygen saturation during surgery
and rigorously maintain the fundamentals: emergency power systems, rescue equipment, and staff emergency training.

Even more importantly, Dr. Jun Kim — having served at university hospitals and general hospitals —
has performed endotracheal intubation and tracheotomy, and possesses the capability to save lives
in emergency situations. Even during his tenure at a rhinoplasty specialist hospital, he personally
performed intubation and incision to rescue patients during multiple in-theatre emergencies.
