What is Male Rhinoplasty?
Reshaping the nose — the central feature of the face — can dramatically transform one's impression, conveying trustworthiness and a masculine appeal. Because a man's nose differs from a woman's in skin thickness, tissue volume, and the angle formed by the glabella and nasal bridge, the approach must be tailored accordingly.
The ideal male nasal line

Nasal dorsum width
A nasal bridge approximately 75–80% of the width
of both alar bases, more defined than in women, to emphasise masculinity

Nasal line
Minimal curvature between bridge and tip;
an ideally straight line

Nasal angle
The nasion (radix) starts slightly higher than in women;
the nasolabial angle between tip and philtrum is maintained at 90–100°

Frequently Asked Questions about Male Rhinoplasty
A man's nose differs from a woman's in skin thickness, tissue volume, and the angle formed by the glabella and nasal bridge, so the approach must be tailored accordingly. The ideal male nasal profile features a bridge approximately 75–80% of the alar width (more defined than in women), minimal bridge-to-tip curvature for a straight line, and a nasolabial angle of 90–100°.
We select the optimal material for each individual from autologous rib cartilage, septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and cartilage particles. Using autologous cartilage instead of artificial cartilage reduces the risk of inflammation and complications, provides natural movement, and — once engrafted — delivers semi-permanent results.
Surgery takes under 2 hours under local or sedation anesthesia, with same-day admission and discharge. Suture removal is after 6–7 days, with 3–4 follow-up visits and approximately 1 week of recovery (individual variation applies). Aesthetic and functional improvements can be addressed together.
